By default, your generated temporary email address and its inbox are active for 24 hours. After this period, the address and all received emails are permanently and securely deleted from our servers.
Can I send emails from 1sec.email?
No, to prevent spam and abuse of our service, sending emails is not supported. 1sec.email is exclusively designed for receiving emails, account verification, and testing.
Is 1sec.email free to use?
Yes, our core temporary email service is completely free to use. We also offer premium features for users who need custom domains, longer email retention, or dedicated APIs.
Is it safe to use 1sec.email for sensitive accounts?
We recommend using disposable emails only for accounts where you do not store sensitive personal information or financial data. While our service is highly secure and automatically deletes emails, temporary emails are inherently designed for transient use.
Can I recover a deleted email or address?
No. Once a 24-hour session expires or you manually delete an address, all associated emails and data are permanently wiped from our servers. We do not keep backups of deleted data, ensuring complete privacy.
Do you offer custom domains for temporary emails?
Yes! We offer premium plans that allow you to bring your own custom domains, ensuring higher deliverability and reducing the chance of your disposable address being blocked by certain websites.
Why am I not receiving the verification email?
Delivery is usually instant. If you haven't received it, the sender might be delayed, or they may have blocked temporary email domains. In that case, try generating a new address with a different domain from our list.
Are attachments supported in incoming emails?
Yes, our service fully supports incoming attachments. You can securely download files attached to the emails you receive during your active session.
Can I use 1sec.email through an API?
