Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
1. Introduction
At 1sec.email, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This policy outlines our strict "Zero-Trust Data" philosophy and how we handle information.
2. Data We DO NOT Collect
- We do not require or collect your name, permanent email, or phone number.
- We do not log the IP addresses associated with incoming temporary emails.
- We do not track your browsing history across other websites.
3. Zero-Disk Architecture
Our service is built to be volatile by design:
- RAM-Only Storage: Incoming emails are processed and stored entirely in RAM.
- Auto-Deletion: All emails and attachments are permanently destroyed after 1 hour.
- No Backups: Because data is never written to disk, there are no backups or archives of your temporary emails.
4. Analytics & Cookies
We use minimal, anonymized analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand general website traffic (e.g., number of visitors, page views). We do not use this data to identify individual users or link it to your temporary email usage.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. We do not display personalized ads that track you across the web.
6. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Under the GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to access and delete your data. Because 1sec.email does not collect personal identifiers and automatically deletes all emails within 1 hour, there is practically no personal data for us to provide or delete upon request. However, if you are a premium user, you may contact us regarding billing data.
